Today we had a good time.

At 8:40 a.m., I got to school. The sun was bright. I thought we would play outside. I did homework before the class began. Then Dom came into our classroom. He looked happy. He said to us “Hello”. We replied to him too. He talked about the World Cup with us. We became excited. Then, he started our lessons. He told us something about the buildings around the world. We listened carefully. Time passed quickly and soon it was time for lunch. The food tasted delicious.

At noon, some of us watched films, some played games, and others had a rest. The second lesson began. Dom let us draw a map of China. He divided us into 3 groups. We drew for a long time. We felt tired, but happy. We played football at the end of the day.

I felt happy!

Today was full of happiness.

In the morning, I felt happy because Argentina beat Netherlands in the World Cup.

I was the first to come into the classroom. About 40 minutes later, the first lesson began. Dom told us something about Britain. Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. And we learnt something about Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert. We also knew something about local items from different countries, such as America , France ,India and Russia.

In the afternoon, Dom separated us into 3 groups。He let us draw a map of China and write some names of local items in China.

We worked together and made a beautiful map of China, so we felt proud of it.

After that, we practiced singing the song called YOU ARE NOT ALONE.Marie thought I behaved well.

We played football from 4:10 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. Though we scored one goal, we still lost the game. We should practice harder.

Today, we learnt a lot about England, Also, I saw so many places in the UK, such as the capital city, London, and the famous city, Birmingham, etc. From our books we can see British landscapes. I won’t forget a big monument made of rocks. Many people go to visit the monument every day.

At noon, we played a game. It’s called Wink Murder .However, I didn’t remember the rules of the game exactly. Maybe it goes like this: first, you need to go outside and then wait a minute, then you come back to find the murder from the living classmates. I found the killer and I won the game. After that, I was a killer, but the other student didn’t not find out the killer. So I won the game twice.

In the afternoon, we practiced singing a song called “You are not alone”, and saw two episodes from a TV program called LOST. In the last period, we had a basketball game, which we enjoyed with each other although we felt very tired in the end.
